The Spanish Tavern has played such a role in so many of our romantic milestones, that my husband and I cannot imagine celebrating Valentine’s Day or our anniversary anywhere else.

One particular Valentine’s Day stands out in my mind. My husband had made plans for us to celebrate the day at the Spanish Tavern, and unbeknownst to me he had gone to the florist and purchased a large bouquet of flowers. He had the flowers brought to me at the table as a surprise; I was shocked and delighted by his very romantic gesture.

I also remember a rather snowy Valentine’s Day a couple of years ago when even a blizzard could not deter us from observing the holiday at the Spanish Tavern. We braved the elements in order to have the quality romantic evening that we knew we would have at your restaurant. It was definitely worth the trip!
